Ecurie Ecosse/Nielsen Racing has confirmed a four-driver lineup for its upcoming debut in the Asian Le Mans Series LMP3 class.
The European Le Mans Series team will run a pair of Ligier JSP3 Nissans in the 2018-19 championship which gets underway next month with the 4 Hours of Shanghai.
Its British LMP3 Cup pairing of Colin Noble and Tony Wells will share one of the cars, while 22-year-old  Christian Olsen and experienced endurance racer Nick Adcock will team up in the sister entry.
Silver-rated Noble is the reigning British LMP3 champion and also races the team’s Ligier in the ELMS along with Olsen and Alex Kapadia.
The Scottish racer partnered Wells to defend his national title this season and the pairing currently leads the standings with one round to go.
Olsen, meanwhile, made his sports car racing debut this year and has so far taken two ELMS podiums with Noble to put Ecurie Ecosse/Nielsen sixth in the LMP3 standings.
For the team’s Asian program the Dane will form an all-bronze rated pairing with 53-year-old Adcock, who is the current leader of the South African Endurance Series.
“It’s great to see that Colin and Tony’s partnership will continue into the winter months, as part of our debut Asian Le Mans Series campaign,” said Ecurie Ecosse/Nielsen team manager David Thompson.
“As a pair, they’ve been extremely successful with us, winning races and fighting for the LMP3 Cup Championship title this season.
“Christian has come a long way since he started driving with us earlier this year, and Nick has plenty of experience to draw upon.
“Because of this, we feel that as a pairing they have a real chance and scoring strong results throughout the campaign, which will see us racing at a selection of spectacular circuits across the continent.”
