After getting a look into the worlds of up and coming Hip-Hop stars Jay IDK and Bodega Bamz for the ongoing “Alter The Icons” activation by Reebok, rising female emcee Saweetie is the latest from the campaign to show us her unconventional rise in the rap game.
Taking us back to her hometown of Hayward, CA, Saweetie reflects back on the times that shaped her into becoming the talented artist that she’s grown into today, which include being raised as a biracial Filipino/Black woman and getting a college education that resulted in graduating with a 3.6 GPA to boot. Here, the USC grad also shows off the “Altered” Classic Leather silhouette, which, along with the “Altered” Workout Plus, makes up the newest additions to the Reebok family.
