Motorheads Bar and Grill on Toronto Road has formally dedicated its new sign

which it bills as the largest Route 66 emblem in the world.
The sign measures 32 feet by 32 feet and will be visible to travelers heading into and out of Springfield on Interstate 55.
It's expected to be a major draw for Route 66 enthusiasts from around the country and the world.
